About This Project

The National Bank for Economic and Social Development (BNDES), a federal public company, is nowadays the main long-term financing instrument for investments in all segments of the economy, with a policy that includes social, regional, and environmental dimensions.
Since its founding in 1952, the BNDES stands out in supporting agriculture, industry, infrastructure, and trade and services, offering special conditions for micro, small and medium enterprises. The Bank is also implementing lines of social investments, directed to education and health, family agriculture, basic sanitation, and urban transport.
